Finally.....it's finished
I finally finished my first knitting project----a felted purse. It feels like it took me forever! --- especially making the I-cord for the straps. I took a couple of pictures to show before and after the felting. All in all it turned out pretty cute I think. I'll use it. Ryan thinks it looks like a rasta hat and likes putting it on his head----hmmmm. I was amazed at how little it got, it'll be perfect to put scriptures in for Church or when I just need a small little bag. I did enjoy making it and can't wait to start another project. Ryan recently bought me a knitting book, so I have lots of fun things to choose from.

I love your bag!! Not that it wasn't cute before, but isn't it amazing how much cuter they become after they are felted? I really want to felt some slippers.
I love the bag! I am addicted to purses and bags...ask Cameron! And I love yours! Great job!
Excellent work Amy! That is awesome!
Oh and it is truly awesome that Beth likes bags and purses ... welcome to the family! I'm pretty sure between all of us we could open a store!
Wow! I'm impressed. The most I can manage are baby hats and scarves on the knitting loom!
Seriously???? Way too cute! I'm impressed!
K- I love your bag...but what I love even more is that I never knew you loved to knit! My Grandma taught me years ago and I LOVE knitting. I always joked about being an old lady...you are WAY better than me. I've done pot holders, a few cute scarves, and I started a blanket that I know will never get finished. Your bag is adorable!

Love the BAG! You did a fabulous job. My mother loves to knit and has felted some hats she made for me. I guess you can control the shrinkage but dont ask me...i know nothing. We'd LOVE to see your next project.
Impressive! I don't know what it means to "felt" something, but it turned out great!
Darlin', that is the cutest bag! I have yet to try felting--perhaps that will be my next project. Way to go!!
