Christmas 2007

This year we spent Christmas in Las Vegas with Ryan's parents. We were lucky as Ryan's brother and family came from Oklahoma. It was fun to get to see them and for me to get to know them better. The weather was a little nicer than in Utah, it's always fun to see the sun in the winter. As usual we got spoiled with yummy food and treats and had a great time just hanging out.

We love Wendy

This is a picture of Ryan's two best friends and their wives....Kristen & Jason, Amy & Ryan, Wendy & Jason. Wendy was killed in a car accident about a year after this picture. We are grateful for the knowledge we have that we can see her again. This pictures is appropriate in front of the temple as we know families can be together forever. We are grateful to Wendy and the example she is to us and the love we felt from her.

24-Jack and Chloe

Ryan and I love the TV show "24". For a neighborhood Halloween party we decided to dress like Jack and Chloe. Ryan even had a man bag full of guns---just like Jack. Unfortunately our neighbors aren't as into "24" as we are and we had to explain to almost everyone exactly who we were, what CTU stood for, and that it's just a TV show, not what we do in real life---although it would be exciting to be Jack Bauer for a day, I'm glad my husband doesn't really work in a job where people regularly try to kill him and he's forced to constantly save the world.

GO UTES!

Ryan and I love going to UTE football games. It's a great way to spend Saturdays in the fall. We can't wait for next season.

Estes Park

Ryan and I went to Estes Park Colorado for a Family Reunion with my Dad's siblings. We were the representatives for our family branch. It was fun to see cousins, aunts and uncles that I rarely see. Plus, we got to go to the world famous Scottish Festival---Ryan even got me to eat haggis. It was a fun time. Even though I did get us a little lost finding our lodgings.

Balanced Rock

As part of our tour of Twin Falls, we also went and saw the world famous Balanced Rock. Ok, so I was trying to be a little funny with the camera and angle, but it was pretty impressive to see this massive rock attached by just a small little piece of rock that hasn't been worn away by wind.

Shoshone Falls

My little brother Cameron got married June first, to his sweetheart, Bethany. They had a reception in Idaho a week after the wedding. Ryan and I decided to stay an extra day and spent Saturday exploring Twin Falls. This is a picture of Ryan at Shoshone Falls. I had been there before in 1993 on tour with Encore, I remembered a LOT more water. It was still pretty cool though.
